We can't be the only ones disappointed by the lack of inventory slots in Valheim. Increase Your Inventory Slots with the More Slots Mod The only catch is that to utilize the extra space, you will need to have the Cart with you, which at times can be a real burden as it's not exactly easy to control over rough terrain, and it can be damaged if you're not careful.įor a complete guide on how to craft and use a Cart in Valheim, click the following link: Increase Your Inventory and Carry Weight with a CartĪlternatively, you can always opt to build a Cart, which will provide an additional 18 inventory slots and does not have a weight limit. While there's currently no way to physically increase your inventory space - unless you're looking to install a mod - you can purchase an item known as the Megingjord from Haldor the Merchant for a whopping 950 Gold Coins.īy equipping the Megingjord, it will allow you to increase your carry weight from 300 to 450 - which is quite the increase! Click the following links to jump to. I've also used this method to carve out roads between some of my builds. Once I have gone around the whole square and raised/lowered teh ground I'll rip out the beams and proceed to use that newly leveled ground to level off the entire building area. Ive only played solo so far and am so glad I grabbed it. You can increase stack sizes, change the inventory size for the smelter and kiln, all kinds of stuff. I like to stand on the beams and bring the ground up to the top of the beam. The Valheim Plus mod on Nexus Mods will let you disable the teleport restrictions on items, among other things. Again, you can only do this while you are standing in the area of effect of a Workbench, so its a good idea to build a dock or a station of. All you need to do is click on it with the Hammer tool while the Hammer is set to repair mode. Once the square is done, you'll see where you need to raise the ground and where you need to lower it. Repairing a cart or a boat of any kind in Valheim works in exactly the same way as repairing a building part. If the ground is sloping up, you'll see that too when the next beam in the series tries to bury itself in the ground instead of sitting on the ground like the beams before it. You might need to put down vertical posts ever now and then if you find the structure is going too high (a sign that your ground level is sloping downwards). The video had you build out the whole square but I find that with my method you can fix some issues as you go along. You want to build an L first before building the full square. So if you put down ten beams going north/south, put ten beams going east/west before making a second turn in the square. Start from one corner and build out both sides. Next use the beams to build a large square. A trick I saw on YT is to use the horizontal beams to square off the area you want to build in.įirst use the pick axe to break up/dig out any hills/steep embankments and bring the area to a general level. Don't start building the structure and then try to bring everything to its level. For building, if you want to level the ground, you need to start there first.
